I look forward to beginning this new journey with you.
Specializing in adolescents and young adults. My experience enables me to offer effective outpatient, individualized, psychological care. I treat a number of mental health disorders, and provide a neutral ground to individuals, and families.
My primary modalities are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). CBT specializes in changing negative thinking patterns, emotional responses and behaviors to more positive and self-fulfilling responses. EMDR is designed to alleviate the distress of a traumatic event/memory. I provide a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan that works best for you.
I promise to be there for you every step of your journey. My goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life.
Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counseling and treatment, we are able to help you recover motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life.
Suicide and self-harm can often begin with individuals struggling with depressed moods. It is extremely important to take every suicidal threat/self-harm incident seriously.
Signs to look out for are:
-feeling hopeless, trapped
-engaging in risky behaviors, such as carelessly driving or taking drugs
-getting affairs in order, giving away their valuables
-talking about revenge, guilt, or shame
-increase isolation, depression, panic attacks, anxiety.
